Powder Hounds Ski & Snowboard School For over three decades, Powder Hounds has been the premier ski school on Mt. Hood at the Timberline Ski Area, providing both skiing and snowboarding instruction. Powder Hounds' specialized approach to teaching, especially to children, has helped generations of Northwest skiers learn and continue to enjoy winter sports. Our small classes, adult-chaperoned bus rides, friendly instructors, easy-to-use rental equipment, and plenty of games and challenges throughout the day give every student a sense of fun and accomplishment.
